StatusPostedExact selected status
Sales order ID1188Numeric source order ID, not invoice ID

Find customerAromaFinds customer choices; still select a Customer
CustomerCafé AromaUses its Partner reference, not Party/profile ID
Invoice date: From / To01/11/2026–30/11/2026Inclusive invoice-date range
Due date: From / To01/12/2026–07/12/2026Inclusive due-date range

From must not follow To. Select Clear filters to start again. The result table shows Invoice, Customer, Invoice/due date, Status, Total and Amount due; each amount uses that row's currency.

Sorting and pages

Sort byUseful for
Newest invoice dateRecent invoicing work
Oldest invoice dateOlder records
Due dateDue-date review
Amount dueLargest outstanding numeric balances first
TotalLargest numeric invoice totals first
StatusGrouping workflow states

Page size choices are 10, 20 and 50. Sorting by amount does not convert mixed currencies to a common value. EUR 1,000 and GBP 900 cannot be compared economically by their bare numeric order.

Example A: find an invoice after an uncertain save

Enter the known Sales order ID in advanced filters, leave Status as All statuses, and Search. Open any result and check number, date, customer and state. If a cancelled draft and a replacement both exist, identify the non-cancelled one before continuing.

Example B: review December collections

Choose a due-date upper bound of 07/12/2026 and Status Posted, then Search. Repeat with Partially paid to include invoices already partly settled. There is no multi-status or dedicated Overdue checkbox on this screen.

A due date alone does not establish an overdue receivable: exclude Draft/Cancelled records, check the actual outstanding balance and compare the due date with the review date. Use receivables/aging reporting for a formal collections view.

Example C: customer enquiry

Type Aroma into Find customer, select Café Aroma, and Search. Sort by Newest invoice date. Open the disputed bill and compare lines and balances. The register does not search Notes, product descriptions or customer names through Invoice number.

Empty, restricted and failed lookups

  • No invoices found means no visible records match the filters; try Clear filters and check unit access.
  • A customer/unit/warehouse lookup error does not prove invoices are absent. Check the feedback message and source access.
  • Partner #…, Business unit #… or Unavailable are fallback labels when enriched master-data names cannot be loaded. Use stable references for investigation.
  • An error state offers Retry search; do not treat a failed request as an empty ledger.

The register retains filters in its navigation URL, and the detail's breadcrumb can take you back with that context. A fresh direct link may have no previous filter context.
