Access and permissions in Suppliers

Each tab and section has its own feature and permission. A section you can't use is hidden, or shows that it is not visible to you.

When Supplier or Partner is off, or you lack supplier.view, you see Suppliers unavailable.

Readiness still applies to what you can't see

If you can't see, say, the compliance profile, the Purchase readiness check shows "Not visible to you. This check still applies to purchase orders."
