Worked example: month-end pack

On 1 November, Nadia prepares October's month-end pack for Bright Home Supplies, then automates it.

1. Run the trial balance

Reports → Trial balance → From 2026-10-01, Through 2026-10-31 → Run report. Totals: movement debit = movement credit = 2,900.00; closing 3,070.00 both sides. Balanced.

2. Download it

Download Excel → trial-balance.xlsx arrives at once (well under the 10,000-row limit).

3. Balance sheet as a PDF

Balance sheet, As of 2026-10-31 → Run report. It includes Current earnings (unclosed revenue less expense) and balances. Nadia selects Queue PDF export. In Export history the job moves from QUEUED to RUNNING to COMPLETED; she selects Download PDF.

4. Save both
